Hey guys, so I set up another tank I had lying around, one of my larger ones it is 48"x15"x18".
Went to the LFS yesterday and was in for ages deciding what to stock it with!
So my options were, 1 7" female oscar and a 9" pleco, or, 6 x 5 spot jewel cichlids, or a Polypterus ( Senegalus? ) .
I went with the 6 cichlids, they range from about 3" - 6".. I got a great deal on them which is what swayed me. Thing is, on of them is in pristine condiition, the largest opn, and the rest have messy fins and all they do is fight and chase each other round the tank?? Guy at fish shop reckoned if I over stocked with 6 they would be ok, apparently not yet!
Also is there anything else I can put in with them? I have a 3" Golden nugget plec in another tank I could put in but unsure if would be ok? Also the Senegalus? (excuse spelling!)
