Hey guys,

Hope I'm in the right section for this, but here goes;

Last year I bought four exodons for a 15 gallon species tak I had set up specially for them (the LFS guy just about fainted when I told him I wanted 4-5 of these guys:D).
After they acclimated, and about a week of observing their ferocious feeding habits, I fell in love!
So about two weeks later, I got two more (one of the initial 4 had been killed).
Thes guys are so facinating, beautiful, and space efficient and they are now topping the charts as some of my favorite fish.

Anyway.....After hearing about petcos 1$ per gallon sale, I quick dashed down (figuring there would be a huge rush.......there wasn't:headbang2) and bought a 29 gallon for my little beasts.
I'm currently in the process of setting it up, so I'll keep ya posted/

the first one is a pic of their old tank. Yea, I know it's dirty. I just got back from a week of vacation, and the girl I had taking care of them overfed them:irked:. ( I figured there'd be no point in doing a serious cleaning since I'd soon be taking down the tank anyway)

The second and third pics are of the tank on the stand with the bottom filter and gravel in place.

Very nice! Keep the pics coming! Those mini monsters are amazing to watch feed. congrats on the new tank... it was a really good sale.. I grabbed a 40 breeder as well

:DUpdates!

Plants and water have been added. (I had to fill it with the hose so I'm gunna let it sit for the night and warm up).

The last 3 pics are of my axolotl tank. since I had the camera out, I thought you guys'd get a kick outta seeing my two little beasts:D!
The melanoid (black) one is Spike, and the golden albino is Midas.

Any upcloses of your exodons? Nice tank pickup btw.

Thanks, man!

I've tried to take pictures of them before, and It's alot like trying to take pictures of dianos. They're just too damn fast:D! The best pics I can get of them still turn out blurry.
Sometimes they just seem to disappear right before I take the picture, like in the first pic. You'd never know there were five exodons living in that tank by looking at that picture.

I'll see if I can get them to hold still tommorrow when I move them:popcorn:.

lets see some pictures. What kind of filter are you running? that ac70?

Hold your horses, dude:chillpill::D!

to answer your question; yes I plan on using the same filter from the old tank, at least for now. Once they're settled I'll probably get a bigger one to fit the new tank.
Thanks for your concern.

I'm not concerned, I know you're doing your research and your talking to the local pro, bitteraspects, I was just wondering if your gonna use your modded ac70. I have a 110 and read the steps he took to increase its ablity. My bad if I sounded like a cop, I'm actually trying to get information out of you two by reading posts and taking notes, I'm expecting a shoal soon.
PICS!!!

Yea I don't see takin pics of those beasts being too easy. Nice setups man
