i want to upgrade my tank from a 6 x 2 x 2 (180 x 60 x 60) to a 6 x 3 x 3 (180 x 90 x 90) and i am not sure how thick my glass should be ive been told 12 mm and then 15 mm could someone with experience please confirm?

IMO 12mm is a bit on the thin side for 900 high. Any particulatr reason you want it that tall? Could probably go 6x3' and 700-750 high with 12mm glass.
oh so i should probably go 15mm? and haha no real reason i just think it would look nice i dont really want it to be flat looking i dont really like that and just wanted to make sure before i order it because the price difference is double between 12 mm and 15 mm.
