This weekend I am getting my 180 gallon aquarium. For the time being I am starting with a very light fish stock and using just a fluval fx5 as my filtration. I am upgrading to a 30 gallon wet/dry with an 18 watt UV sterelizer T off from the return pump. I am going to use a 1500 gph return pump. What are your thoughts on this?
I am planning to keep 4 datnoids, 2 or 3 phoenix flagtails, and far future adding a red tail cat and arowanna to the bunch. What are your thoughts on this amount of fish for a 180 gallon once I get the wet dry?
One thing I am considering is which gravel do you recommend? I have been going fourth between black or natural brown looking gravel.
