New Tank Idea

So this is for a small saltwater tank... i see some people using 70w MH lamps and i was wondering if this lamp would be alright... of course i would have to make a hood for it...

EDIT: ok i dont know why that happened... but this is the lamp i was refering to

I have no idea, but I have tried using one of those floodlights to light up my tank. It worked but from the side. I never had a chance to rig it up to hang from the top.

so something like that would be fine on say a ten gallon, in a DIY hood... it seems easier then building my own... this has everything inside...

keep in mind this is just me planning so none of this is final or well planned... just thinking of a small 10 SW tank

if i got an AC30 and used it as a refuge would that eliminate the need of a protien skimmer... this would be my first SW so im new to all this

EDIT: never mind i think i found a good one that is ready to mount for $20 more
