I am transforming my preexisting 100 gallon corner tank into a tanganyikan tank. I am looking for ideas on how to design the interior. If anyone has any successful examples I would like to see them.
for pictures the media area is best. On a tang tank, it depends on the type of tang. Some need more sand, some more rocks, some need more plants, and some shells.
Creating a natural environment is always the best for whatever species you want to keep. I am a huge fan of sand bottoms and a combination of lace and texas holey rock. My main tank (150) has no plants but I do keep a few in my 60...just to be a little bit different...also....it must look good to your eyes too....good luck!
that sounds good to me...i am following a similar rout...i have a sand bottom, mixed with crushed corral to buffer the pH...a rock pile...a shell bed...and one plant to act as coverage
