My new 135 starphire is nearly finished, and is ready for pickup. Next week the tank will be getting brought down, and setup.

Starphire is a type of glass that is lower in iron, causing less distortion of color. Very expensive new style. Oceanic just release a pro line of starphire glass, and it is $400 for a 40 gallon tank.
Mine was only $400 for the 135, but I got mine direct from a guy that has killer prices up in canada. We had a group order, and have a total of 500 gallons coming, 2 of the tanks are starphire. One of the people involved is getting a 150 starphire, dual overflows, black back, iron stand all for $900.
I can't wait, but the stand, and moving the tanks and stands, and removing substrate, redoing the aquascaping, keeping all the discus happy... this is going to be one HUGE pain.
Congrats....I would love to see a comparison pic of starphire vs. other glass in regards to less distortion.
Well compared to my current 135, the distortion is mostly from the ridiculous number of scratches in the glass itself. 
Not to derail, but I work in the building that manufactures starfire glass. PPG. They don't manufacture it here, but rather the company is headquartered here. I actually was asking one gal I was talking to outside about getting glass I don't think she was the right person...
