I put a good amount of money in my Reds and am confused. This isn't my first tank, been doing it for years. Cycled the tank and added my p's yesterday. Woke up today to a cloudy tank. The only difference is that I added a good deal of carbon to the filter and fed them plankton a few hours after intro. I usually feed a small amount to monitor the stress level and they were better than fine. Already did a 25% water change and added some ammonia detox, any ideas? This is a first for me.
I have never used plankton for and I notice a good amount of it floating. I was worried I had an ammonia or nitrite spike but my baby 1 inch piranhas are eating like nothing's wrong. Any ideas on a fix? I was going to go to the LFS soon here. Just confused on why it got cloudy after the initial cycle.
