Hello all.
After three years with the same population, I have decided to stick with plecos, and bring new juvies, in order to raise them for the next few years.
So I brought 8 G. Brasiliensis and 6 S. Deamon.
I have heared that it is not so simple to bring the Deamons to maturity (and enjoy from them for a few years) since the "hole in the head" disease that the tend to get...
Is it true?
I am not using reverse osmosis system, and the water in our region is quite hard (PH 7.5 more or less).
So I would like to hear your thoughts.
Moreover, I think of adding to this population a few juvies of Uaru - a fish I find very interesting to raise.
Hope the mixture is a good.
Thanks for your advise.
Amir
