ok so i havnt posted here in a long time. i had sold all my fish tanks and was planing on not fish keeping anymore. but today i went to the LFS with one of my friends because he had to pick up a fish he was getting. and i saw a bunch of fish that i had wanted when i used to have tanks. and i was like "what the hell" so i bought a 30g tank=]. idk if i will be getting into it as much as i was before but im keaping fish again!

so my first question is, what should i stock and decorate it with. PLEASE keap in mind that my friend has a 600 gallon indor pond that needs fish so i could grow them out in here so dont just mention fish that can live in a 30 for lofe, mention fish that i can grow out as well

You could keep a few dwarf puffer in there their very interesting fish. You could also make it planted. You could grow some small polypterus and datnoid...

ha no thats a rock. any body got ideas for substrate. i want sand sortof, but i hate taking care of it. i think ill go with black gravel.

black fluorite. looks great against plant/black b/g and colorful fish.

if i had a 30 gallon to use as a grow out, i'd get archers, dats, birchirs...
