New tank question

I'll be setting up an 80g this weekend and I have had the filter running on my other tank for about 2-3 months bc my previous tank busted So would my tank be instantly cycled with the filter? The only stock going into the new tank is one ten inch fish that gets fed once to twice a week.

If that was me and I needed to get the fish in the new tank ASAP I would use prime for safe measure and continue checking water parameters. In theory you should be fine, but just to be safe and I wouldn't assume your new tank is cycled regardless what anyone said.

It's an AC 110.

DN i do not denie this, and yes always test the water with a new setup, I asked for filter size be cause if its just a AC70 its not going to work.

I don't need to move him asap. And I do plan on using prime and stability for safe measures. I also have the api master kit so if anything goes outta wack I could place him back into the previous tank.

AC110 should do the job if cycled but I would look to getting a canister down the road. and as stated test your water.
