Hey guys!, thanks for taking to the time to answer some of my questions. first off some background i just got back into the hobby after a 5 year break. im picking up a 150g stainless steel frame tank and want to do a central american show tank. i have some fish in mind (Vieja synspilum, zonatus , hartwegi, fenetstratus, Salvini, Nandopsis cuban, Beani, festae) but am inexperience with keeping these guys. Basically i would like to know if these fish were compatible. they range from 2 to 3 inches each. im planning to put them all in at the same time and there is alot of driftwood and hiding places in the tank it self. would it work out?

Beani might get stressed from other fish in the tank. Such a valuable species should be kept on its own IMO. Festae is a slow grower so if it was added with the others it would either end up as food or killed.

What are the dimensions on the 150g? This will also have a bearing on your fish choices.

WELCOME to MFK!

That's a lot bigger than 150 gallons, probably over 300.

Well the person im buying it from, says its a 150g pemco tank, but i can seem to find any info on it online. would be a great help if someone here knows more.

Using a cubic feet to gallon calculator on Google I got about 465 gallons. A standard 150 is 6x1.5x27"ish

Cool lookin retro tank. Unfortunately with those dimensions it's only about 80g. Only likely going to be good for just one of the larger fish you listed or maybe a few of the smaller.
