I hate my current on in my 29gal and have been wanting to change it for months and with me getting another 29gal, possibly even a 32gal, I am in need of some MAJOR setup help.
I want everything to match, I'm very picky about things going well together and my tank setup/rock doesn't AT ALL

Any tips? I'm thinking maybe getting drift wood, small pieces of course and putting them in there but I know you have to like plaster them or something?? For the one I have now anyways, but not sure what to do with the others. My mother is going to kill me by the end of all this. But she knows animals to me are like children to some people, so she doesn't mind.. Just as long as I pay for everything.. which I do already including for her animals (: hahah

Every bit of opinion and advice is welcome. I just need some really good ideas. (:

PLEASE AND THANK YOU (:

Howdy,

First question is what species do you want to keep? Cichlids have different requirements than tetras. Second, do you want to have live plants? These are fundamental questions, and they will determine in which direction your tank setup will go. Because then you can try to re-create a specific biotope, which will loo awesome whatever it'll be

You don't have to "plaster" driftwood. Stick with one kind of driftwood and decide if you want plants. Start looking at lots of pictures of tanks online and decide what you like... Nature aquariums (actual takashi amano or inspired designs) are amazing tanks and follow certain rules of space use in the aquarium.
