new tank setup

only put this together in the last 24hrs, 55gallon tank on an unfinished stand, 25 gallon sump, 1584gph pump running ~50% flow (the sump is still missing media as its being ordered, being kept going with a few aquaclears hanging off the back)

any questions or comments appreciated, let me know what you guys think!

Good start. I would look into adding a background, I prefer black. Do you have any plans to finish the stand by closing it in a staining or painting it? I would recommend doing that to make it clean looking and also probably lower the noise from the sump.

the 2 sides and the front will be getting closed in, the front will be 2 doors and it will be insulated, and the stand will most likely be finished in mahogany.

the tank will eventually have a black background as in the near future that setup will be a salt water setup, my cichlids will be moving into a 90g with a malawi background from aquaterra.

i agree with adding a blk background, looks like some nice fish.
