im getting a 150 gallon tank and i was woundering what kind of fish i could keep in it. like some larger fish, but i want them to stay in the tank for life. For example could i keep a lima shovelnose in a 150. Also i would like to keep the ph between 6.5 and 7, so no fish that cant live at that ph level. would be alot of help thanks.

thats my dads tank currently and all he is doing is putting what ever he catches in it. we have alot of rainbows and brown trout and some small mouth bass, and its not a 550 its only a 500 get it right. lol. the only reason im asking this question is becuase when i look up the ph ranges, every website and book has different suggestions so i figured some of the advanced fish keepers could help me out.
