Hi guys I'm new to this really cool forum.
In a couple of months I'm going to set up a 6x2x2 tank but I don't know which fish to buy.,the only thing I know is that I want a big ca/sa cichlid.
Which are the biggest cichlids I could have in there? Of course I want a big one but I don't want it to be cramped in there.
Thanks

It's a nice size for oscars, geophagus, parachromis or whatever.

A jaguar would be cool

As long as you avoid dovii, umbee, most will be fine in a 180 gal, are you after a breeding pair or more of a community.

Thanks guys.
For now I'm pretty sure about having only a single male of a big species maybe in the future I'll have a breeding pair.
So basically I can choose what I prefer among all the species excluding doviis and umbees, thats sounds really cool
Edit will my tank be enough for a pair of jaguars? If so how will I be able to pair them?

It could be. Getting a group of youngsters then letting them pair as they age is a common approach

If you want a pair get 6 or more juveniles, out of that group 2 will normally pair up, at that point rehome the rest. Just be aware that if you grow out one solo male in the tank it will very hard to add anything else in at a later date. Jags would be just about ok in a 180
