New tank! what fish to get??

I just set up another 20 gallon long tank over the summer and it's been running for over a month now..
I can't decide what kind of fish to get.
The tank has nice white sand on the bottom instead of gravel so I was thinking bright colorful fish maybe?

Any suggestions?
please feel free to give advice!

&*if you suggest a type of fish please let me know how many of them can be kept in a 20 gallon long

is it going to be mini monster tank?a community tank? or a single specimen tank?there are alot of possibilities,tell us how you like it to be
 
I was thinking either pretty good medium sized fish a couple or a small type that I could breed and keep the fry (besides guppy/molly..something more interesting)
 
livebearer's are the easiest to breed,so your priorirty is to breed small fishes?
 
get an school of exodon paradaxus if you like a mini monstertank
