New Tank, where to buy?

First off hello and I look forward to sharing some pics soon.

So my current stock is Saber Tooth, Electric blue dempsey, and 4 parrots. I need to upgrade my tank size to anything larger. What size min, would you guys say? Also, where did you go to buy your tank, lfs, craiglists, other forums?

Lastly, when in fact i do get my larger tank, would an oscar be a good tank mate at this point?

I just bought a tank from my LFS (a little pricey) but you get what you pay for. There are also a lot of good deals here on MFK and CL usually has some good listings.

Thanks for the heads up. I've been waiting for some deals, my lfs wont lower the price on this set-up I've been watching for months, even if I'm paying cash.

I'm not even sure of my budget because work has been slow and I know I have some large expenses coming. We shall see.

Buy a used tank best bang for your buck

buy the biggest tank you can afford, becuase in 6 months you will want a bigger tank . That's mfk fever for you
