2day im adding some smaller fish like bala sharks and convicts to set up the tank
im very exticed and i was wondering if anyone thinks i could add the peacock bass in today????
or how long i have to wait to put any fish in besides the bala sharks and convicts??
i normally just ploop em in the first few days and normally theyre fine

Good luck. 55G is a great size, you'll become very experienced in no time. What other fish do you have? How long did you cycle your tank? Let it cycle for AT MINIMUM 3 days. Even if it has worked before, don't just "ploop em in the first few days". Trust me, I have lost many expensive sensitive fish due to bad cycling.

Don't just plop them in. Do you have a test kit??? You need to monitor the ammonia levels and then the nitrites to make sure you have a complete cycle.
