So this may not seem like such a big deal to those of you who already have huge tanks, but my parents just got me a 55 gallon and a sweet stand for my graduation gift. I am moving out of my apt back to their house for the summer so my fish are going to go from a 20 to a 55, boy are they going to be suprised. :woot:

Right now the only fish that will go in it are community fish: mollies, guppies, yoyo loaches, and one freshwater flounder. But since they will not take up the entire tank im considering putting a divider in and branching out a bit. But this also means all of my other tanks get to upgrade also, so the goldfish will get the 20 gallon an my betta will probably get the 12 gallon. Although it might look silly to only have one fish in a 12 gallon tank.

i would divide the community fish into the 12gal and the 20gal so u have more room for monsters in the 55gal. congratulations on getin the big tank. i felt the same way when i got my 55gal.

good luck with the fish man were all happy for you

55g are great tanks for fish up to around 8" and they are a size that fits most rooms.

Enjoy your new tank and congradulations about your graduation.
