new tank

i am getting a 4ftx1ftx1ft i was going to keep mudskippers in there but i been looking more into them and they seem boring really i have many types of fish..

have had arowanas's,snakehead.oscars just about any king of big fish u can think of but tbh i need some thing morer exsiting to look at

need some help please any idea is welcome

That's not a very deep tank at 12". You could try some bichers, senegals or delhezi.

agreed, thats a mighty shallow tank, and not very wide either.

some of the smaller cichlid species would do ok, like rams, convicts, maybe firemouths. however with a tank that shallow and narrow, you might be best suited with small community fish, like some smaller gourami's or the like.

they are cold water right?? just they would be ideal cos the tank comes with a 11yr old gold fish he quite large but was going to sell him only getting it for the tank but if there cold water or a temp that the goldfish can be happy in they would be ideal never kept them befor so.

well done some looking up and there a 5*c temp diffrence and i know goldfish are happy in water that is 25-27 so.... the gold fish is about 20" long so its more than big enough so not to get eaten by them

if the goldfish is 20 INCHES in a 12 INCH tank, you have much worse issues than worrying about what else to put in that tank.

somethings gotta be wrong here. i cant see a 20" goldie in a 12" tank. that would literally mean 1/2 that tank is straight goldfish
