ima be gettin a 29 gallon an im wondering what kinds i can shove in this tank.

You can do a lot with a 29.
I keep a 29G planted tank, with 1 breeding pair of discus, and a small shoal of tetras.
Fish like space.

you can't keep any bichirs in there, tank is too small.
I would say 45-50g long is the bare minimum tank size even for a single sen.
One of my sen is pushing 35 cm, and I've also heard that a sen can grow up around to 50cm in the wild, where as in the home tank, expect around 30 cm growth for most sens.
I'd say the minimum length of the tank you should have is three times the maximum length of the species,
where as the width would be at least the maximum length of the species.
Bigger is always better.

hmm not even a short bodied palmas?

^how big do short bodied palmas get and i would think no

haha i knew i would see scohin again :) i sold my last big guy for $33 an was lookin to get another an a short body palmas is like 10 inches an perfect for a 29 gallon if u just house 1 an its the only fish.
