I've been in this hobby since the age of 7 I am now 62 took a few years off (almost 20) but now I'm back & I've got the fever bad. Just bought a 220 gal. with 2 Marineland C-530 filters. I want to stock it with a Silver Arowana, Black Pacu, Giraffe Cat, Sailfin Pleco & 2 Clown Loaches do any of you think this is going to be a good mix and what can I do to improve & enhance the aquarium.

If you are going to do clown loaches they do better in groups of 5 or more. Pacu get huge so if I were you I'd pass on the pacu. Congrats on the new big tank
no pacu and if you want a cool loach get a few leporinus, theyre awesome. Congrats on the new tank!
If you want to enjow the Pacu on a temporary basis then pick one up. It will be awhile before he get to the size of outgrowing that tank.
Cool stuff. I'm sorta doing the same thing. Been out of it for a few decades and now picking it up again with my daughter. Have fun.
