Got a Used 70G Hexagon Acrylic Tank, with Acrylic Stand and Hood today. I couldn't pass it up. I am going to be rebuilding the stand and hood out of oak to match my big bow front stand I am having made. I have a few scratches to buff out of the tank. 2 large scratches are on the inside (More long then deep) and a bunch of Micro scratches on the outside.

I'm aware that NOVUS is the product most recommend for this job, but where can I find it the cheapest? Second: Is it safe to buff out the inside of the tank with it? Third: anyone with a link to a step by step of which Novus products to use and in what order? I've Polished Aluminum to a Mirror finish before using Jewelers polishes. But this will be my first attempt at polishing plastic to Crystal Clear Clarity.

Ps: Pics to come tomorrow.

I got the tank, stand, hood, light, heater, and some decor for $300.00 BUT, the friend I got it from also gave me his Wife's Bearded Dragon, Bowls, Decor, Food, Caves etc Because she had been neglecting it and I mentioned always wanting to get one while I was picking up the tank...

Nice tank, I got my 75 gallon 4ft tank for 100-150 dollars(I forgot the exact amount). It also came with a 14 inch Oscar and an 8 inch Asian upside down catfish and a 12 inch common pleco. The pleco died. The AUC is in a separate tank. The Oscar is in the 75 gallon tank by himself.
