I recently came across a bow front and am going to try something new. I read up on people who were cleaning out black diamond sand blasting material for a substrate. I washed it out in the span of drinking three Arnie Palmers and turned out pretty good. I decided to go with some Tanganyikas this time around. Im stuck between two types of Opthalmatilapia Ventralis and want to see what your thoughts are on one in specific and see if there are any good pictures of it out there. The fish Opthalmatilapia Ventralis-Kapampa Orange is a hard picture to look up. Ive found a yellow version and a light blue/silver version. The other type is Opthalmatilapia Ventralis- Kipilli. What are your thoughts on these two. I'm also stuck on a second species which are the Callochromis sp. flame rainbow or the Aulonocranus Detwindti.
