My jardini is starting to outgrow the 55 gallon he is currently in. I have a friend who is willing to sell me a 150 Tall which is 48X30X24. I know that it is smaller length wise then is generally recommended however if I do purchase this tank it will need to be my aros final tank and I would not be able to upgrade later. Would this tank be ok given the extra height?

Thanks,
Eric

height is pretty unimportant! if you want your next tank to be the final upgrade i would not settle for something that isnt perfect. 48" is not that much, especially when you think that jars can grow to 2 ft. why not go for a tank which is at least 5-6 ft long and 2 wide. like i said, if it isnt high, its doesnt matter.

You need at least a 6x2x2.

At least the 6x2x2 but i'd go wider if i could too. I know some people choose to keep them in smaller though.
