Any ideas for a 20 gal tall tank. I wanted to do a cichlid tank with my next tank but was planning on a bigger tank till a friend gave me this one. I am tossing around the idea of a african butterfly with some crickets on the top 1/3 of the tank

if you want to do cichlids why not try convicts? i have a breeding pair in my 20 gallon tall.......
You could do a pair of Rams or pair of Kribs too. Both species look really nice and I hear Kribs are pretty easy to breed.

If you wanna go oddball cichlid, get a pair or trio of Orange Chromides, they are pretty cool fish.
You could do what I plan on putting in my 20 gallon tall. I am thinking a pair of German Blue rams and about 6 rummy-nose tetras. Hope you have better luck finding the rams than I am having.
Right now I have a convict in mine and I do like the fish but hate only having one fish in my tank. They are just to mean. So he is getting moved.
