Hi I am getting a 75 gallon tank and I was wondering about what kind of fish I should stock it with. I want something colorful, active, and maybe breed thanks

Well it all depends what your into, I would throw in some angels, maybe a school of neon cory's if you like colour, but that's more for a community tank, parrot cichlids are very bright and get large, however they eat most other fish that aren't cichlids as well.. Fancy goldfish are pretty cool too, they make quite a mess though. We're you looking at making it a independent aquarium or more on the community side?

It's hard to find a catfish that won't get eaten by a large cichlid, if I was making a cichlid tank I would put 1 or 2 oscars in, plus a Pleco and whatever other bottomfeeder won't get demolished by the cichlid, maybe a twig catfish, predatory fish have a tough time finding them

With a 75 gallon, a nice African Cichlid setup would provide plenty of action, color and breeding.

You can also put some Synodontis Catfish for the bottom

Good Luck with whatever you choose!
