a while ago i bought an unidentified fish from my lfs that they got in thier feeders and scicne theyre under insctuctions to save any oddities for me when i make my daily visit, they put in in one of thier showtanks. i immedaitly purshesed it and brought it home to add to me 10 gallon lame fish tank, it immedaitly strarted shredding the corys to bits
after it killed 4 of um i moved it to its owm 1.5 gallon.
earlyier this week i decided to upgrade my flying barb (esomus lineatus) home from his solo 1.5 gallon to a 5.5 gallon, constuctcted to mimic his fast moving homerange. i also recently found a rather intresting species of hillstream loach to add to the mix .its filtered by an AC mini, at 100 gph....i keep the temp at 75-77 degrees and lightly tannin stianed......it seems that these colder water hillstream fish are really enjoying thyer new digs
if i come across any more hilsream loach speices ill be sure to add a couple of each, and if any one can point me to where i can get more Esomus Lineatus, let me know, for small fish, these guys r the bomb
5.5 Gallon Tank:
1 Flying Barb (Esomus Lineatus)
2 Lizard Loaches (Homaloptera Stephensoni)
enjoy
