Hey all, this is my new tank custom made glass around 120-125g

I'd be concerned keeping it next to the fire, variations in temperature that close to aquariums can often have disastrous effects I've found

Yeah it's almost square, should be fine next to the fire, I had my old 80g in the same place for three years no issues (Apart from the temp rising about a degree over the night).
I have had it sitting there for a couple of hours now empty and the glass on that side is only a couple of degrees warmer than the other surfaces

What's the dimensions on that,, what's your stocking plan

100 x 80 x 60 centimeters, was looking at a species only tank of Geophagus of some kind. Maybe a couple of small plecos to finish it off.
