new tank

I've got a 45 gallon hex tank and was thinking about changing it up i was just wondering what i could set up in it, I was thinking 2 or three pictus cats, but wat could they go with? Just some ideas would be great ......Thanks

Is it a tall tank? I have a similar hexagon tank that is very tall - 42 gallon. I don't think many CA/SA would do well in it, not much swimming room. I would think an Angel fish would work.

tall hex tanks really aren't that good for most cichlids, especially lunker sa cichlids

oh, and pictus cats need a lot of bottom room. Cory cats would be better

Make it planted with a few cory cats and small tetra.
