New Tattoo: need opinions *pics*

Ok, so I wanna start my other sleeve next month and i need some opinions. I wanna do a realistic looking koi (dont like the cartoonish looking ones) on my arm. The koi will be in color with black and grey background of water/wind bars and a few lillies or lotuses in color.

So, which one do you guys think would look better? First koi, or the second one? The first one is an actual fish. I drew the second one myself based on the color pattern of the first....

haha on a human. thanks for the feedback. yeah #2 is the most realistic look as its an actual fish, but i do also think that #1 will work better as a tattoo.

#2 i think is too "static" for a tattoo...

anybody else?
