Ok so I got a new terrarium for christmas which I plan to turn into a dart frog vivarium. Currently I have the substrate in but I can't help but feel that im missing something. The substrate I added was T-Rex Jungle Bed Premium Blend Forest substrate. Please tell me if I should have added something first. I also have several pieces of live moss, a piece of driftwood, and a single terrarium plant. I will be getting more plants Saturday.

Okay, i have no experience with Dart Frogs, although always wanted some... but anyway, you said you might be missing something, could it be a mister? since i think i remember reading that they need a very damp environment to strive? although i could be totally off...

First off, I have no hands-on experience with dart frogs, but I have read up on dart frog care many times before.

I would pull the bedding and add a drainage layer in order to prevent the bedding from becoming overly saturated and thereby getting moldy and gross; this layer will also be beneficial to the plants because they'll be able to tap into the water that's contained in that layer.

False bottoms, springtails, woodlice and actually a good deal of space, I haven't kept them, but youtube videos and caresheets do tell us they are territorial and active in the day. Get a good roach and wingless fruitfly culture. About that liver disease thing I read a few days ago here, I'm not too sure.
