New texas cichlid (video)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
looks like there are other genes other than texas in that fish imo. kinda looks like a flowerhorn to me.

The spotting is larger like a Carpintis. I would assume hybrid.

So like a Texas/Carpintus hybrid? Or anything else? I don't have a tank big enough to breed him, so I don't really care if he's crossed with anything. He looks pretty cool though :D Also, do you guys think he's male for sure?

Is this stuff decent food? I found a container of it and I need to know if it's any good before I open it and feed my fish. Also, it's a HUGE container. Will it lose nutritional value after being open for, say, a year? If this isn't a good brand, what is a good pellet for the little guy?

that brand is okay, hikari cichlid bio-gold is good.

you can get a bag for $9 online.
