Texas
Hello everyone. Ive been keeping freshwater fish for about 2 years now. I currently own a 75 and two 55s. Also if there is anybody around the san antonio area with sump experience that is willing to give me a hand I would greatly appreciate it.

Also if anybody could post a link to help me out. Im looking to build a 200-300 gallon all acrylic tank and was looking for a good diy thread that would help. All I seem to find is plywood threads.

What sump issues do you need help with?

Welcome to MFK! I am in San Antonio area as well, nice to meet another TX MFker.

Nice to meet you. Always good to meet fellow fish keepers in the same area. Btw just curious but what lfs in san antonio do you recommend?
Also you wouldn't happen to know some place to pick up ebjd's anywhere local?

Fintique has them sometimes

Texas Tropicals in San Antonio, and Darby's Tropical Fish in Schertz/New Braunsfels.

Thanks I'll go check out fintique. I was there a few weeks ago & I dont think they had any at the time.
And I like Texas Tropicals, they also have a good wide variety the few times I have been in there.
I've never heard of Darby's before though. I may have to go check it out

Texas tropical is the best all around lfs in the area. Darby's has some cool larger fish though. You may also want to call papa jims on the southside to see if they have any

Thanks I also really liked Texas Tropicals. I just called up to papa jims and also texas tropical and they are both out and not knowing when they will get more.
Fintique has 5 of them though :) so looks like i'll be making a trip there to check them out.
Its great having other serious fish keepers in the area. Everybody I seem to know with tanks could care less to learn anything other then what they already know (which is usually very limited)
