new texas

Hi new to mfk, just got a new Texas will be going in a 75
About 2 inch at the moment, only eating boodworm have tried cichlid
Sticks but no joy. I have been told beefheart is a good food
Dose any one have any info.

welcome to MFK,maybe add some fast dithers so he feels safer to come out and eat,try small size pellets,sinking maybe good.small fish can be shy to travel that far to the top for food.i would get him on pellets 1st as a staple diet

Texas cichlids are great fish !!!But personally i have never had luck with them,either they are seriel murderers or they die for some reason.
