finally i have one

4" tig, days 2 @ my house, not eating yet.. any suggestion to make he/she want to eat?

I've had my tig for about 3 weeks now, and have only seen him eat with the lights on once just very recently. I feed the fish chopped earthworms right before lights out. Every morning he has a belly. I was concerned he wasn't eating at first, but he just seems to be taking a long time to get comfortable and only comes out to eat at night. Try night feeding, and check him in the morn. Nice! Try frozen blood worms.

IME black worms, blood worms, and feeder guppies work well for baby tigs. the trick is to get them eating consistently and then try healthier foods. I've got my 7" and 11"er's on earth worms, shrimp, and tilapia.
