Hi, I picked up 7-8inch Tigrinus 3 days ago. He seems to have found a place to chill under some dfirtwood in my 210g tank and is not being picked on by its tank mates. It looks good and healthy and was eating arow pelltes and was fed in front of me when I picked him up but hasent eatin anything yet. how long will it take him to be comfortable to eat?

I would give it a few days at least and try feeding at night, they are more active at night at that size.
Let's see some pics. Don't stress about the cat not eating. They can go a lot longer without food than you would think. Also, he could be eating, just not in front of you.
i went to my lfs and i saw a tigrinus for 200 dollars and he was about 4 to 5 inches and then i saw a rtc about 1 foot long and he was only 300 so i was wondering is the tigrinus over priced or something?
mine took 2 weeks as well until he started eating but hes not eating pellets just shrimp, must be nice having it eat pellets!
