I am in the process of setting up a 560gal tank and was originally planning on stocking it with central and south american cichlids but I am rethinking my stock so I have a few questions on my new wish list.

do you see silver arows that only take live food? (I dont want fish with special diets)

what is the best food for silver arows?

do silver arows play well with cichla?

do silver arows play well with central/sa cichlids?

any additional info on silvers would be apreciated.
I am also new to cichla so dont be afraid to throw in comments on them to.

Nope....Rather easy to convert to different foods. IME

what is the best food for silver arows? Pellets, shrimp, silver sides, etc

do silver arows play well with cichla? Yes...Depending on size of the arow and the bass.

do silver arows play well with central/sa cichlids? Yes, depending on size of other CA/SA fish.

any additional info on silvers would be appreciated.

Snookn21, TUIC, and a couple more vendors here have great selection of fish.

will an arrow be alright in a tank that is only 32inces deep for life?

Assuming you mean the dimension from front to back of the tank. I would say yes, even if the aro were to get upto 36" I think it could work, not the best but could work. Now, if the aro were to say get to 40" then something wider would be in order, highly unlikely that will happen though.

cool, yeah thats what I meant. the tanks dementions are 8ft long x 32in deep x 4ft tall.
Not the best footprint but it was a good price.

currently keeping both and are very happy and the only problem i have is because of mouth shape floating pellets float out of his mouth but loves freeze dried krill

how much did you pay for the tank? and don't for get to take some pictures !
