New to Blood Parrots.....bloated belly, or normal????

I inherited the fish about 4 weeks ago when I upgraded to a 90 gallon. It looks like this all the time although more in the past few weeks. How long to they carry eggs? I tried giving peas to get things moving along, just in case it was a little constipated. It eats well and is very active and playful, and the poo in normal.
