I have a 55 gallon Cichlid tank. I was not sure what were males and what were females. I have a Flowerhorn, Pink Convict, Convict, and two jack dempseys. They seem to get along just fine together. I noticed that the Pink Convict, and Flowrhorn were swimming together, and acting intimate. After that they started to act aggressive so I thought they mated. the flower horn has been protecting a hiding spot in the tank, and sure enough there are fry now in the hiding spot. Should I separate the fry in to there own tank, or let em be. Please help I don't know what I'm doing.....thank you

well if they did spawn they would not act aggressive towards one another but if they did with your stock the fry will be eaten quickly so if you want to raise a few better search the tank and find the fry and siphon them out into another tank. also not to be a downer but your going to have major problem with that stock when they get older especially if there are breeding pairs in it. the good thing you are asking questions hope i have helped.
