Here they are. About 6" inches.

Sorry about the water spots. Pics were taken an hour after getting them.

I traded one of my flowerhorns for the 2 of them. I'm excited. The dominant one of just ate FD shrimp without having to trick it. The other seems to be dominated and kept in a corner of my tank. It defends itself, but it is clearly not the boss in the tank. Tomorrow I'm going to try fd krill on them and then I'll try pellets after that!

Which LFS did you get them from? They look good. Keep em nice and healthy. You will thank yourself later.

I traded them with another hobbyist. I'm pretty encouraged to see that they are even eating fd krill and hikari gold pellets without having to train them. They don't like eating these foods with me looking and the lights on. But they are gone when I'm not around.

They seem to really like the fd shrimp the most, but I'm going to try to stick with the hikari pellets.

I have yet to meet a Cichla that doesn't like Freeze dried shrimp or Krill for that matter. Especially Krill. Had to stop feeding the stuff to the big boys because they were getting a little out of control over KRILL! Glad to see you are enjoying them it only gets better. Or worse depending on what you think fun is.......:naughty: I personally like taking fish tank showers every night!
