New to Cichla...what do I have?

I got this guy for my 240. What type do I have?

I think Ocell too. That one is a beaut! So much spangling.

He is about 7 inches. I know they grow huge. I am using the 240 as a growout for awhile until I place him in a larger tank I am working on.

that is one spangly ocell! and they dont get that big, a 240 may even be good enough. definitely not as big as a temensis

How big do they get?

Max size is around 18-24".

Still plenty big. Enough to talk my wife into the bigger tank anyway.
