Hello all I am currently in a position to get some indo dats ranging from 3-5 inches and up to 5 of them.
And needed some info regarding them!!

Would a 200g aquarium be sufficient enough to house them?
Current tankmates would be 1 silver aro
1 turquoise severum 5 silver dollars 2 blood parrots 2 Oscars 2 electric blue/ yellow cichlids

Running a fluval fx5 and 2 emperor 400s

Was thinking about picking up all 5 if my tank is sufficient enough for the time being!
Thank in advance

Your tanks big enough if it's a regular footprint.
I may be wrong but it sound a little busy already, so with 5 more fish it might be a bit too crowded.

get rid of the oscars and the other cichlids...then pick up the dats[/

That was what I was thinking as well needed a second opinion on it.
alright thank you guys very much for the Input : )

You have plenty of room for the dats :), but like MHcblues119 said take out the cichlids first.

5 indos can be housed for a long time in a 200, but depending on their personal growth (they can reach 20") that might not be enough for life (check pumole's picture thread for reference)....I would keep the SDs but not the cichlids
