hi, well i am very new to discus and would apperciate any advice. i just found out that i shouldnt have young or breeding pairs in a tank with gravel or anything. currently i have 4 with another 6 on the way. two of my discus are in a 55gallon and are putting out eggs like crazy. what kind of tank set up would be best for them? what all do i need to know about them? i have been doing endless reserch but there are so many people saying different things, can some one tell me what the best way to house and care for them? thank you

Generally, you need about 10 gals. per fish to be able to handle water quality issues in a reasonable way. For 10 fish, a 125 gal. tank would be ideal. If you try to put all of them in that 55, you will likely have problems unless you do large, daily water changes.
