New to Fh help

I have kept cichlids for a long time, but i just got my first fh. It was free, but just wondering what kind it is or if it has any potential.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but what is a double flowerline and is that a good thing ?

The line going from the tail to the head - usually a spotted line with splotchy spots - is the flowerline. A double flowerline measn the fish has one (usually) above the normal flowerline. Your s has a seocnd spot on the base of the tail higher up and then it continues in the middle of its back. It's not a complete double flowerline and only time will tell if it grows a more complete one. Some also have a triple flowerline with one below the normal line.

Female - between the body type and the black mark on the top fin its most likely female.

Thanks everybody. Is there a way to tell if she is fertile because the red devil she is currently living with seems to be trying to get her attention.

Not until she breeds with something you know is fertile.

If the female lays eggs, she's fertile.
