New to FH keeping

Hi MFK. A few weeks ago i sold all my african cichlids for store credit. 15 fish, 3$ each.(Bought them for 3.99) Thats around 45$. Anyway i waent around the store and boought this fish that looked like a FH but i wasnt too sure. Anyway i bought him and put him in my tank. In the tank i have an oscar, midas, and a JD.

I know all these fish are aggresive and grow huge, but im still saving up for a new ehiem pro 3 filter to go in my 180g. SO i should have that set up by the summer. All the fish are 3-5inches in length. But the FH is the king of the tank. I named him bruiser.

He chases everyhting in the tank including the midas which was the boss before. Now i want to return the oscar so he doesnt get killed. Any suggestions on what i should do?

PS. they are in a 55g right now.

Ill try and post a pic of him today when my brother brings my camera from school.(im in grade 11 btw lol)
 
check home depot for the lighting grate many fishkeepers call "eggcrate," it should be white. cut it to fit your tank and isolate the FH, that way you dont need to get rid of any. get that 180 up ASAP and put a divider in that tank also. it's simple, FH dont get along! lol

btw, i'm only a year above you so i know where your at financally! lmao
 
Thx for the advice fish man. Ill go to home depot next week to grab it. Anyway i still need to post a pic of my FH. He is really cool but his color is really faded.

Is this temporary or will he stya like this forever?

Also fishfanatic, i live in Mississauga. I got the FH from Dragon Aquarium on Dundas Street.

Is there any way i can fiz his fadded color?
 
All you have to do to post pics is put you cursor over the pic. Then a drop down menu will pop up. Click the bottom link and paste it somewhere.
