hello, i just got into fish keeping, a buddy of mine is letting me use his 30 gallon backup tank until i get my own, its at his house, but im over there everyday doing my part, feeding, maintenance, etc. that being said the tank was already cycled, and all he said i had to do was buy the fish, so thats what i did. i bought 2 blue rams, about 2 dozen neon and related tetras, 2 albino coriis, and a peacock eel. bought most the tetras today, and while we were there, my buddy ordered himself some cichlids... lol, i hope i don't turn into that. he is pretty packed as it is. any pointers or tips would be great. and thanks for your time!

20-30 % Water changes would be good per week. Also the fish would look better with a variety of foods. EX: Bloodworms, Flakes, Shrimp. Should make those Blue Ram's colors sparkle!

:welcome: to MFK! :D

Welcome .... and yes it does get addictive.

fish hobby is very addictive my advise would be don't put to many fish in your tank all at once pace yourself only couple fish every week or two and don't over crowd your tank.
