Ok guys at the risk of sounding like an idiot or hurting anyones feelings. I have never had a fh and up until recently was not a fan of any hybrids that could be avoided. But as many have i now find myself oddly drawn to them. Was thinking of getting one but really want a good strain so i guess what i'm asking is where should i look? and around how much are we talking?

Well the higher the grade for that one flowerhorn prices will rise...as ive seen some high grade flowerhorns at 3-4" for $124.99 and they already have a growing Kok but if you want a A grade flowerhorn its like about $15-30 or something...they have AAAA grade in my LFS for $900 its a male flowerhorn with double rows of flowers, a huge Kok, perfect fins, beefy, glass banger, and aggressive as hell...
the only thing i was astonished about the price was that it was labeled a Faded something...lol i forgot what it really was but yea...it was all super red, blue fins and pearls all over the bodywell new to it all but want a quality fish he will be by himself so not to worried abou the aggresssion. Where would you recomend looking no lfs here have any. and would love to see a few pics of diff kinds if you guys have them.

uhmm try seeing if their are some on the buy/sell section of this forum as they always have some flowerhorns being sold out in the US and shipping is not much if close by but you should be willing to use $30-70 for shipping...as for pics you can check the hybrid section as they have all these kinds of flowerhorns...all flowerhorns don't look the same so you have to pick the one you like best that being sold...
you can always try and ask your LFS to see if they can order some in for you...some states don't sell them but most do
