Hi guyes.
I'm new to flowerhorn so have looked around the internet for info.
But know that inhe in here is the real experts. So want to confirm I few things.
Is it correct no driftwood in the tank
So far I have 14 3-4 " in a 6 x 6 feet pool so grow them out and find the best one to breed. I keep an eye on them for aggression. But read that if they go in a to big a tank there body will be to long and the humb will not develop as big. Is that correct ?
Thanks guys

yeah its preferred to not have any driftwood in there because when they are in a bad mood and go crazy, theyll hurt themselves.regarding the big tank=smaller kok and long body, im sure that the kok is based off of genetics and water quality. the body is based off of genetics and food i believe.the bigger the space the better for the flowerhorn.goodluck have any pics?

hey that pool needs filtration and lots of media. Do u know what I mean? So with that size water I would throw a bunch of decors in there for more surface for bacteria growth. There are no gravels no filters with media for bacteria.

I know I have already put more filter on it + uv filter the to sponge filter also do an amazing job and always have good luck with them to keep the bacteria healthy
